Dzintars IT is the controller of personal data processed for Beyond Ordinary. Questions and requests: legal@beyondordinary.art.
What we process
Browsing requires no account. The hosting and security infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, user agents, and request paths for delivery, diagnostics, and abuse prevention. We do not add advertising trackers or audience analytics.
Report forms collect your name, email, selected reason, details, good-faith declaration, and review outcome. GitHub sign-in stores your public GitHub user ID, username, display name, your chosen bio and profile visibility, account timestamps, and terms acceptance. New GitHub accounts do not have a website password. We do not request private email access or store GitHub tokens.
When submissions open, public contributor attribution, instructions, and evidence come from the GitHub contribution. Public profiles and avatars require at least one visible published skill. Your name and bio can be saved privately before publication. Submission checks may flag public GitHub account age, repeated pull requests and matching instruction bodies for human review; these signals do not automatically ban or reject a contributor. Do not include private contact information in a public pull request. GitHub handles its own account and repository data under its policies.
Purposes and grounds
We process account data to provide account services and meet our agreement with you; publication data to manage agreed contributions; reports and technical records for legitimate interests in safety, rights protection, and service operation; and data needed to comply with legal obligations. Additional uses requiring consent will be explained before collection.
Access and recipients
Authorized administrators can access private account and complaint data. Hosting, infrastructure, and mail providers may process data necessary to operate the service. We do not sell personal data. Disclosure may be necessary to comply with a lawful request or defend legal claims. Creator avatars are fetched by our server from GitHub and cached for up to two hours. Your browser loads them from this site, so it does not send GitHub your IP address for the avatar. GitHub receives sign-in requests when you choose to use it. External result links open another service under that service’s policies.
Retention
Website account data remains until you delete the account or request erasure, subject to justified legal exceptions. Published contributor identity and skill attribution are maintained separately as publication records; deleting an account does not automatically erase these. Contact us about removal or correction. Public GitHub pull requests and repository history are controlled by GitHub and may remain visible after a website listing is removed.
Open reports remain while being handled. A daily cleanup removes resolved library reports more than 12 months after resolution. Daily recovery backups are restricted to the operator and expire after 14 days. Historical deployment backups and infrastructure logs follow separate hosting retention; contact us for those periods. Deletion from active records may precede expiry from restricted recovery backups.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable grounds, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. GitHub account holders can export their website account data or delete the account in settings. Deletion requires a recent confirmation of the same GitHub identity. You can also revoke the OAuth app in GitHub’s application settings. Other requests go to legal@beyondordinary.art; we may need proportionate identity verification. You may complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija). There is no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
