Necessary cookies and privacy choices

Session and CSRF cookies support secure forms and GitHub sign-in. A short-lived, single-use state value in the server session protects the sign-in redirect. Website sessions follow our session settings; we do not offer persistent “Keep me signed in” authentication for GitHub accounts.

We store your privacy choice in your browser as bo-cookie-choice for 180 days. This records whether you allow saved theme preferences and when you made that choice. It is not used for tracking.

Optional theme preference

We save bo-theme only if you enable “Remember my theme” in Cookie settings. It remembers your light or dark theme until you withdraw that choice, clear browser storage, or your privacy choice expires. Without this permission, a theme change is temporary and a fresh page load follows your device setting. We remove old bo-sidebar and bo-intro preferences from earlier versions.

Your controls

Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change your choice. “Only necessary” removes the saved theme. You can also remove stored data in your browser’s site settings. Disabling cookies may prevent sign-in or form submission. Opening an external link visits another website whose storage policy applies. Questions: legal@beyondordinary.art.
